.We have 120 miles of beach on The Outer Banks, \u00a0Half of that is undeveloped within The Cape Hatteras National Seashore \u00a0 The Outer Banks is best known for its<\/span>\u00a0varied\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/strong>outdoor attractions and activities. Beach parking and access is plentiful and \u00a0free here .\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Food and drinks are allowed on all of our \u00a0beaches. \u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Inn has Three Guestrooms with Private Baths and direct access to the Porch from \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/em>your room. Our rooms sleep two adults in a Queen size Tempurpedic bed. There is also \u00a0complimentary High Speed WiFi throughout the Inn.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Although pets cannot stay at the Inn there are \u00a0some very good local boarding options \u00a0close by that allow you to spend the day with your pet. We can supply you with their contact information.<\/p>\n

There are three First Order Light Houses here. These Architechtural masterpieces date from the 1870s and are still functioning. One can climb them March into November. \u00a0 There is a great deal of history on The Outer Banks.<\/p>\n

The fishing is legendary. The Surfing is the best on The East Coast. \u00a0There are a large variety of \u00a0other recreational activities both on water and land. There are some very nice Golf Courses which are uncrowded and affordable in the off season which is generally the best weather for golf.<\/p>\n

There are many very good restaurants here \u00a0that serve fresh NC Seafood<\/p>\n

There is every kind of shooping for all of your wants and needs.<\/p>\n

The famous Corolla Wild Horse herd is here.<\/p>\n

The Wright Brothers National Memorial is here as well.<\/p>\n

This is the site where the four year effort by the<\/p>\n

Wright brothers \u00a0culminated in \u00a0the first powered Airplane Flight.<\/p>\n

We offer Bicycles, stand up Paddle Boarding and Kayaking in The Sound which are included.<\/p>\n

Bird Watchers will find our location to be excellent. The interaction zone between the Maritime Forest, Wetlands and The Sound attract dozens of species of birds from the smallest Songbirds and Hummingbirds to Raptors as well as large Wading \u00a0Birds. Sea Birds also visit the Soundside. You can view in a relaxed way just sitting on the porch or in our immediate location.<\/p>\n

The Inn overlooks the broad waters of The Albemarle Sound here in Kitty Hawk. All of our rooms are waterfront with a view over The Sound<\/span>. The Inn was built by the owners Greg and Linda Hamby for the purpose.<\/p>\n

A Continental \u00a0breakfast is included.<\/p>\n

There is a pier going to the Sound with seating over the water.<\/p>\n
